Gizil represented North Rhine-Westphalia at the Female Founders Contest 2026 National Final in Potsdam, joining female founders from across Germany to showcase innovative companies and technologies from their respective regions.
The national final brought together 12 founders representing a broad range of industries, including industrial and deep technology, healthcare, sustainability and artificial intelligence. The event provided a platform to exchange ideas, present innovative business models and highlight the diversity of Germany’s entrepreneurial landscape.
For Gizil, the event was an opportunity to present not only Virtual Plant®, but also the company’s broader vision for the future of industrial technology. With a strong focus on internationalization, Gizil aims to build globally scalable solutions that help industrial companies better understand, operate and modernize existing infrastructure.
A key part of this vision is the preservation and digitalization of industrial knowledge. As experienced generations retire, decades of operational and engineering expertise risk being lost. Technologies such as Virtual Plant® can help make this knowledge accessible, structured and usable for future generations of engineers, operators and maintenance teams.
We would like to thank Business Angels Deutschland e.V. (BAND), SHE Grows Academy, KPMG Venture Services, the jury, partners and organizers for creating the opportunity to participate in the national final.
Gizil returns to Düsseldorf with a strengthened commitment to its international growth strategy and its mission to support the digital transformation of industry.
From Germany. For the world’s industry.
